Governor Cooper has identified over $165M in IT investments to be funding the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in the state of North Carolina. This does not even account for an additional $1.2B for statewide broadband.
$79.4M to improve IT infrastructure and enhance cybersecurity in support of continuity of state government operations
$75M for IT infrastructure at the North Carolina Community College System
$45M for IT infrastructure at the University of North Carolina System
$30M for IT infrastructure at independent colleges and universities
$28M to support IT integration projects at the Division of Public Health
$15M to improve vaccine system and management through technology
$14.6M to modernize or replace data systems supporting local and state public health
$9.7M to support data interoperability across systems
$6M to modernize or enhance the North Carolina Immunization Registry
